Patricia E. MacIsaac

She owns and operates South Shore Hypnosis Center in Hingham, Massachusetts.

She is also a frequent lecturer and facilitator of workshops and seminars and has been a guest speaker on radio and TV talk shows in the New England area.

Pat also holds a third degree in the Usui Shiki Ryoho REIKI method of natural healing.

Patricia is a certified instructor for the National Guild of Hypnotists, teaching both the basic and advanced courses.

She took the Hypnosis Certification Course to Louisville, Kentucky in August 1994, to certify a group of Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, and returned in April 1995, to teach the Advanced Certification Course.

Patricia is the recipient of the National Guild of Hypnotists' 1993 Meritorious Service Award. In December 1993, Pat's picture appeared on the cover of the Journal of Hypnotism, the quarterly publication of the National Guild of Hypnotists that is distributed internationally, and was featured in an interview in that edition.

Pat has been a speaker at the National Guild of Hypnotists' Convention & Educational Conferences for the last several years.

In February 1995, Max Magazine, the supplement to the Mariner newspapers, the major weekly newspapers south of Boston, did a full-page interview with Pat. Also in February 1995, a story about Patricia was on the front page of the Patriot Ledger, the major evening daily newspaper south of Boston.

In August 1995, Pat was named Instructor of the Year by the National Guild of Hypnotists.

In May 1997, Pat was nominated and awarded the Women Mean Business Award by the South Shore Women's Business Network.

In August 1998, Patricia was appointed to the National Guild of Hypnotists' Advisory Board.

Pat has been an Adjunct Faculty Member for many years, and was specifically asked to teach the Certification Course at the NGH Educational Conference by the NGH President, Dr. Dwight Damon, for the last nine years, including 2006.

In February 2005, Patricia became a Board Certified Hypnotist, having successfully passed her oral and written exams in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pat was name Educator of the Year at the 2006 NGH Convention and was presented with the the Hypnotism Hallmark Award.

She was one of the 2006 Order of Braid inductees. The Order of Braid is the centerpiece of the National Guild of Hypnotists' Awards System which recognizes a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication and service. While contributions are varied, inductees have enriched the lives of others and made a significant difference to the profession. The order of Braid is also unique because most of the inductees have already received many of the top awards through the years.

She also was named as a Board Certified Hypnotist Examiner.

At the 2007 NGH Convention and Educational Conference, Pat was awarded the Dr. Rexford L. North award, named after the founder of the Guild.
